So long, Jerry Sloan. Hello, Chicago! Carlos Boozer made the right decision when he agreed to leave the Utah Jazz for the on-the-rise Chicago Bulls. With the lets-learn-to-flop Jazz in his past, its now time to focus on the future.

Knicks backup plan: Boozer?

The New York Knicks just made a deal to line the pockets of Amar’e Stoudemire (notes) with $100 million over the next five years and the team is waiting to hear if LeBron James (notes) wants to leave home with the Cleveland Cavaliers and come be part of the glamour of New York and try to help save the Knicks. If he doesn’t, one source tells ESPN that the team is interested in former Utah Jazz power forward Carlos Boozer (notes) . Yesterday, the Miami Herald reported that Boozer was also getting interest from the Miami Heat , but that it would take a sign-and-trade to get him under the salary cap in south Florida.
